Key Fob Operation

The Key Fob is a tool designed to deactivate the motion sensor related to Child Double-Check & Theft Mate portion of the system temporarily on the EP2 and EP2Plus . Its use should be restricted to use by maintenance personnel and management. A low frequency signal transmitted from a Key Fob to the module receiver will deactivate the Motion Sensor for 10 minutes or 8 hours. Cycling the ignition Key once will reset the system to normal operation.

Double-Check\Theft Mate activation Suspension

The Key Fob can quickly suspend horn activation triggered by the Double-Check motion detection feature. Depressing the Key-Fob button for a couple of seconds will turn the horn off and suspend the Double-Check\Theft Mate operation for 10 min. The module will emit an audible sound. One ignition cycle will reset the system to normal operation.

Maintenance Mode

Maintenance Mode suspends the Double-Check\Theft-Mate portion of the system temperately for the purpose of conducting general maintenance. Depressing the Key-Fob button for 5 seconds suspends the Double-Check\Theft Mate operation for up to 8 hours. The module will emit an audible sound. If the system is equipped with a speaker the following voice annunciation will be heard "Theft Mate maintenance mode activated" One ignition cycle will reset the system to normal operation.
