A007 ETJ (schematic)
Overview
This EP1plus System (ETJ) for Arkansas was designed to meet the state specific requirements for electronic child check systems. Below you will find the schematic as well as key operational features and additional support information to assist with your installation.
Installation Schematic: A007 ETJ
If the brake input (grey wire) is not connected, the child check must be carried out after each ignition off event. Failure to do so may result in horn activation at undesirable times.
Operation Features
- Activates by the 8-way overhead red lights (or another 12V source)
- Deactivation in Key ON position
- 1 minute to perform the child check
- Dome lights will illuminate during and after the child check
- Horn will sound for 5 minutes and the headlights will flash
The Arkansas specification requires the system to be disarmed at every "key off" event.
