Below you will find the Brake Set Alert Troubleshooting guide. In this guide, you'll find symptoms, possible faults and signal information to assist you.

Please keep in mind that this document will be periodically updated as more troubleshooting information becomes available.

Symptom

LED does not turn ON

Check fuses

LED does not turn ON

Check ignition circuit

12V with ignition ON

LED does not turn ON

Check LED circuit

Black wire = +Vbatt, Red wire = LED trigger (ground or open), Green wire = Green LED trigger (ground or open)

LED does not turn ON

Check TCM wire is not grounded when the speed is lower than 7mph

TCM wire 105 is open circuit<7mph, ground> 7mph

Symptom

Possible Fault

Signal Information

LED is Turning RED

Check the door correctly presses the door switches

Door switches have +12V when pressed and Open circuit when released

LED is Turning RED

Check LED circuit

Black wire = +12V, Red wire = Red LED trigger ground

LED is Turning RED

Check the pressure sensor

Closed circuit with 90psi of pressure

LED is Turning RED

Check TCM wire is not grounded when the speed is lower than 7mph

TCM wire 105 is open circuit<7mph, ground> 7mph

Symptom

LED is turning green

Check the door switches are not stuck pressed or short circuited

Door switches have +12V when pressed and Open circuit when released

LED is turning green

Check LED circuit

Black wire = +12v, Green wire = Green LED trigger ground

LED is turning green

Check the pressure sensor

Closed circuit with 90psi of pressure

LED is turning green

Check TCM wire is not grounded when the speed is lower than 7mph

TCM wire 105 is open circuit<7mph, ground> 7mph

Check LED circuit

Symptom

Manifold is not changing state engaged

Make sure the system has enough air before turning the system on

At least 90 psi is recommended

Manifold is not changing state engaged

Check there is enough air pressure in the system

At least 90psi is recommended

Manifold is not changing state engaged

Check the door correctly presses the door switches

Door switches have +12V when pressed and Open circuit when released

Manifold is not changing state engaged

Check TCM wire is not grounded when the speed is lower than 7mph

TCM wire 105 is open circuit<7mph, ground> 7mph

Manifold is not changing state engaged

Connection to solenoid faulty

Check Solenoid circuit

Symptom

Signal Information

Buzzer is always sounding

Check the door correctly presses the door switches

Door switches have +12V when pressed and Open circuit when released

Buzzer is always sounding

Check the buzzer circuit

Horn has a constant power on one terminal (+Vbatt) and ground trigger on the other terminal (open circuit or ground)

Buzzer is always sounding

Check the pressure sensor

Closed circuit with 90psi of pressure

Camera is not recording

Check the door correctly presses the door switches

Door switches have +12V when pressed and Open circuit when released

Camera is not recording

Check the pressure sensor

Closed circuit with 90psi of pressure

Symptom

Signal Information

Camera is always recording

Check the door correctly presses the door switches

Horn has a constant power on one terminal (+Vbatt) and ground trigger on the other terminal (open circuit or ground)

Camera is always recording

Check the Camera circuit

Camera output has 0V when idle and 12V when recording

Camera is always recording

Check the pressure sensor

Check the pressure sensor
