Where to Mount the Motion Sensor
Overview
The front bulkhead on school buses vary from make, model and year. This can cause some confusion when determining where to mount the Motion Sensor during installation of our EP2plus Theft-Mate System. This document will describe the best placement for the Motion Sensor to function correctly.
Motion Sensor Placement
For the Motion Sensor to function correctly, it is recommended that it be mounted in the center of the front bulkhead. This placement is optimal for the Motion Sensor to scan the vehicle. Placing the Motion Sensor too far to the right or too far to the left on the front bulkhead may hinder the Motion Sensor's operation.
